An ordinary 52-card deck is used to play the well-liked card game Rummy Gold. Forming sets (three or four cards of the same rank) & runs (three or more consecutive cards of the srummy dhaname suit) in one's hand is the aim of this 2–6 player game. Each player starts the game with, depending on the variation being played, a certain number of cards. Top card is turned face up to begin discard pile; remaining cards form draw pile. Each player takes a turn drawing a card from the draw or discard pile & then discarding a card from their hand.
