Adrien Delmas is the 2024 PartyPoker MILLIONS Online champion. The Canada-based Frenchman beat out 1,112 entrants to win $76,412 of the $556,000 prize pool.
Several Day 1 flights resulted in a 1,112-strong crowd, but only 116 of those starters made it through to Day 2. Each of those surviving players locked in a min-cash of $529 and a few cents, plus any bounties they picked up along the way.
Players including Charlie Combes, Dalton Hobold, Team PartyPoker's Jaime Staples, Sami Kelopuro, Rodrigo Seiji, and former MILLIONS Online champion Benjamin Chalot reached the money places but fell short of a final table appearance.
Rank | Player | Country | Bounties | Prize | Total Prize |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Adrien Delmas | Canada | $40,457 | $35,955 | $76,412 |
2 | Caio Mayrinck | Brazil | $10,301 | $35,899 | $46,200 |
3 | Jesse Wigan | United Kingdom | $11,847 | $23,751 | $35,598 |
4 | Breno Heleno | Brazil | $3,550 | $15,376 | $18,926 |
5 | Christian Pedersen | Denmark | $3,960 | $10,470 | $14,430 |
6 | Christian Ivanov | Bulgaria | $898 | $8,052 | $8,950 |
7 | Pablo Furtado | Brazil | $687 | $5,904 | $6,591 |
8 | Luan Barbosa | Brazil | $3,927 | $4,678 | $8,605 |
9 | Gabriel Cabello | Brazil | $3,527 | $3,687 | $7,214 |
Five of the nine finalists had a Brazilian flag next to their name, as is so often the case in large online poker events. Three of those Brazilians, Gabriel Cabello, Luan Barbosa, and Pablo Furtado, were the first trio eliminated, the latter's exit, leaving six players in the hunt for the title.
Christian Ivanov of Bulgaria busted in sixth before Danish grinder Christian Pedersen fell in fifth. Pedersen banked $14,430, including bounties, which was the event's first score worth five figures.
Another Brazilian, Breno Heleno, headed for the showers in fourth but not before collecting $18,926. British player Jesse Wigan eliminated 18 opponents during the tournament, resulting in $11,847 worth of bounty payments. Unfortunately for the Brit, he couldn't claim two more scalps and had to make do with a third-place finish.
Delmas and Brazil's Caio Mayrinck progressed to the heads-up part of the MILLIONS Online PKO Main Event, each guaranteeing themselves $35,899 from the regular prize pool. Both players had accumulated more than $10,000 in bounty payments, too.
Only one man could win, and it was Delmas' day. The Frenchman added $40,457 worth of bounties to his $35,955 for a $76,412 payout, leaving Mayrinck to console himself with a $46,200 runner-up prize.
Five of the ten numbered events awarded their champions with scores of at least $10,000. Outside the Main Event, Kevin Campbell was the biggest individual winner thanks to securing a $25,910 top prize in the $215 buy-in 6-Max Championship.
Joel Dias came close to Campbell's score, although the $21,818 he scooped for winning the 6-Max Championship PKO edition fell slightly short.
