Players are presented with a variety of options and game modes when they first launch the application. Users have the option of starting a game in single-player mode against AI or multiplayer rummy openmode, where they can play online against friends or random opponents. Each player takes turns drawing and discarding cards in an attempt to create valid combinations after choosing a mode. The game starts with a hand of cards. Once a player successfully arranges their hand into valid sets or sequences, the app gives them clear instructions on how to meld cards and declares victory.
