Fundamentally, rummy is about using the cards that are dealt to each player to form sets & runs. Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit make up a run, whereas three or four cards of the same rankbig win slots but different suits make up a set. In order to be the first player to lay down all of their cards, the goal is to combine these cards into legitimate combinations. The game can be played with two or more players, and depending on the version—Indian Rummy, Gin Rummy, or Kalooki—the rules can change slightly. A certain quantity of cards is dealt to each player, and the remaining cards make up the draw pile.
